You're in Control

Not everyone is going to like you or be in-tune with your beliefs or life philosophies. It's important to realize that this is OK. Don't let that stop you from doing the things that you want to do. I just started this blog, as well as the development of some online courses and other things, and sometimes I hesitate to put something in my writing because I don't think that people will relate to it or have the same point of view. I'm sure this is entirely accurate......but some will relate to the message......and I have to let myself be heard even if just on a small scale. Sticking to your path and pursuing knowledge in the areas of life that you are interested in may bring you a little further away from some people. But if it was meant to last than it will. What's important is that you continue on YOUR path. I'm finding that when I do, I pick up some pretty cool people along the way am finding that more people than I realized share at least some of my viewpoints concerning life. Either way, actively gaining the knowledge that I pursue and exploring the world, the people and life in it, and the infinite different ways that one can choose to live, is the only way to go in my opinion. It's difficult to find yourself when you're always taking other people's advice and/or conforming to the general societal standards and expectations. We are consumed by what we expose ourselves to. The stimulation around us has the power to change our thoughts, and in turn our actions, the accumulation of which determines everything in our lives. If you are not following your

path, then chances are you're not living the life that you came here to live.
