We all have things that we want to do. Things that we have been dreaming of for a long time. Maybe years. But for some reason these things are not getting done. Or maybe we have made some progress on them but not as much as we thought we would or should by now. And we know that we could have done more, but a thousand small things got in the way like work, chores, family and social obligations, staying fit, etc. Sure these are all legitimate reasons for not making progress on certain projects, but if the projects we are talking about are life goals, we have to change our lives enough to make their accomplishment a legitimate possibility. We have to set ourselves up to succeed. If not, the nagging feeling of not progressing will remain with us. I think most people know what I'm talking about. That feeling in the back of your mind when you're not actively moving toward your goals. It slowly eats away at you any time you're "wasting" time doing something that is not bringing you closer to your goal. The only way it can be satisfied is when you are able to put both your thoughts and actions toward its achievement.

Every action we take in life begins with the thoughts that are behind them. So in order to change our life and accomplish our goals we need to think about the ways that we will need to reorganize our thoughts about the possibilities for ourselves personally. Maybe you were brought up to believe that the type of success you're seeking would never be possible for you because only "special" people get to be the ones who get to that "level". But those special people are ultimately just people with the same amount of potential as you. Sure it seems like they have had some advantages along the way, but in reality when you hear many of their stories their success was only after a long period of struggle and failures when their talents were being developed. What we see is usually the end result of many years of effort, and it only seems like they are an over night success.

And what if you are one of the people who does not "succeed" after all of that struggle? Well, if you are working on following your passions then the pleasure should be in the process, and in that case you've already won. If your goal is something that you simply enjoy doing and want to make a larger part of you life then you have already made your life fuller and richer by making it a larger player. I also firmly believe that anything we are passionate about we will become good at because we don't have to be told to do it. We do it anyway because we enjoy it and would gladly do it for free.

So I invite you to take a moment and change your thoughts to make them in-line with achieving a goal or following a passion that you know would enrich your life. Our entire lives are a product of our thoughts that have produced the actions that have led us to this current moment in time. Once we realize this, we will realize that we have the power to shape our life to make any of our dreams a reality.
